Isabel’s 2nd Birthday Party at Kids Time

Isabel turned two on November 1st and this Sunday we had her birthday party at Kids Time in Las Vegas. This party was our first “outside of our home” birthday party and let me tell you guys, it won’t be our last! Kids Time made life a breeze for us, in fact, we loved it there so much that we plan to become members!

Before I get into the party details, let me tell you about Kids Time and how amazing it is! This indoor playground is designed for children under the age of 10 years old, which means no big kids knocking the littles over! There are several wooden playground structures with tons of slides, a ballon pit, a bouncy house slide, monkey bars, super soft flooring throughout, I could go on for days listing everything they have there! Your child will never be bored and will always find something new to do at Kids Time. What I loved most is that the facility is large enough for the girls and all of their friends to have constant fun, but also small enough that parents could always see their children. Kids Time offers several classes, such as toddler class, preschool, and ballet. They also offer memberships at great prices! You are free to use the facility all day long, you can even leave and come back later after nap time or lunch! You may also bring food & drinks inside the facility as long as it stays in the designated areas.

We booked the Semi-Private Kids Birthday Party Package which includes 2 hours, party supplies, table clothes, decorations, setup and cleanup. We had a super cute private room where we ate and opened gifts. The staff was amazing at Kids Time! They were incredibly kind and went well over what I had expected of them! I came in last second with balloons and the ladies put them up in no time for me! They had already decorated the room in Bubble Guppies theme per Isabel’s request and it was perfect! Also, helped us bring in all of our food & gifts and cleaned up after us. I know what you’re thinking, stop there lady, they cleaned up everything, and yes, yes they did! They not only provided all of the decorations, plates, cups, utensils and set them up for us but, they also cleaned up all of it as well!

With the semi-private party, you have a private party room and share the play area with the public and other parties. This package is for up to 8 children (this does not include birthday child and sibling) and $10 for any additional children. Costs start at $150 for weekday parties and $200 for weekends.

If the semi-private party isn’t your thing, click the link to check out the other party options offered at Kids Time.

Be sure to head over and give kidstimelv on follow on Instagram to keep up with all of the fun!

I highly recommend Kids Time to any Vegas locals with children! It is not only a great place for parties, but also a great place for mom and dad to relax a little while their little ones run around playing safely within your eye sight!

A Morning at Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Garden

IMG_1953One Sunday morning in mid May, Our family went to explore the garden at Bellagio before it was changed over for summer.

Bellagio holds such a special place in my heart! It is the first place we went to visit, after making our move out to Nevada. We have gone to Bellagio garden every theme change ;since we have lived here and I hope to make this something we always get to do together as a family.

After visiting the conservatory a few times, well the strip in general, we have learned a few tips on how to explore with toddlers (another blog to come soon on tips for Vegas/strip visits with toddlers).

One key tip that almost always works out in our favor is; get there early if you want to beat the crowd! Seems simply enough right? If your children are anything like ours, you tend to be up, no matter if it’s the weekend or not! What works best for us is to get up, get ready, and head out.

Getting to the garden early was the best decision we made! It gave our girls the chance to run around and explore all of the beauty without the consent worrying of them being in everyones way. It was, by far, my favorite trip to the conservatory! Watching our girls get the chance to decide what they wanted to check out next, being able to stand back and take it all in, it was easily managed time in public, which is a rare occurrence with our children!

The garden is breathtaking! I highly recommend a trip there if you haven’t been yet or are looking for somewhere to take the family. It’s free to visit, which we know is a huge factor when it comes to taking toddlers places! Why pay to take them somewhere when they might decide when you get there that they hate life, that second, and are not having anything to do with your amazingly planned out day. Toddlers, am I right?

Please stick around!

I hope you stick around! We are currently “getting it together” and our blog will be up and running very soon! I will be blogging about our mom life, family, my personal life and all of our adventures. We are new to Las Vegas, NV and have so much to explore! We hope you will join us on this journey!
